William May got his start in roofing and later transitioned into the electrical field. He apprenticed under James Lemmons Sr., a master electrician with 30 years of experience. After James Sr. retired, William continued working for Lemmons Electric as a project manager and supervisor.
Once he passed the master electrical exam in 2006, May Electric LLC was founded. In 2010 May Electric switched its primary contracting focus from electrical design and installation for wastewater treatment facilities to solar energy installations — bringing the same precision and attention to detail from both fields.
William and his family live in Florida and have no plans to leave or change professions. May Electric is here to stay — and their goal is to improve their craft and become a better company every single day. It’s why we chose them as our installation partner.
